Krujë
We honor Krujë with a distinctive 42 mm matte-olive dial, framed by a gunmetal stainless-steel case. The dial is engraved with a classic, vibrant red eagle—an enduring symbol of strength and heritage. A high-quality black Italian genuine leather strap completes the design, while the iconic eagle and our logo are meticulously engraved on the case back, crown, strap, and buckle.
As the first capital of the Albanian state and the birthplace of the national hero Gjergj Kastrioti Skanderbeg, Krujë holds a central place in Albanian history. During the Middle Ages, it served as the main center of the Principality of Arbër (circa 1190) and later became the capital of the Principality of Kastrioti in 1443.
Krujë was originally inhabited by the Illyrian tribe Albanët, from whom the name Albania is believed to have originated. The town is also located near the ancient Illyrian site of Zgërdhesh, dating back to the Iron Age.
Today, Krujë is home to several important museums, most notably the National Museum of Gjergj Kastrioti Skanderbeg. One of the city’s most iconic landmarks is Krujë Castle, from which Skanderbeg famously resisted Ottoman invasions for more than two decades, including major sieges in 1450, 1466, and 1470. Today, Krujë remains one of the most visited and historically significant towns in Albania.
